What are the classification of hardware moulds?
Hardware mold is a kind of part or product with the required shape made of metal material by pressure with various presses and special tools mounted on the press in industrial production. This special tool is collectively called hardware mold.
1. Classification according to process properties
(1) the blanking die can be separated from the mold by the closed or open contour. For example, blanking die, piercing die, cutting die, cutting die, trimming die, cutting die, etc.
(2) The bending die causes the blank or other blank to bend along a straight line (bending line), thus obtaining a certain angle and shape of the workpiece die.
(3) Drawing die is to make the blank into open hollow parts, or make the hollow parts further change the shape and size of the mold.
(4) Forming die is a kind of die which directly copies the blank or semi-finished workpiece according to the shape of convex and concave dies, while the material itself only produces local plastic deformation. For example, bulging die, necking die, expanding die, forming die, flanging die, shaping die, etc.
2. Classification according to the degree of process combination.
(1) a single process mold completes only one stamping process in one stroke of the press.
(2) Compound die has only one station, in one stroke of the press, two or more stamping processes are simultaneously completed on the same station.
(3) The progressive die (also known as continuous die) has two or more positions in the direction of blank feeding. During one stroke of the press, two or more stamping processes are successively completed at different positions.
Continuous die (progressive die), the press in a stamping stroke, the use of strip-shaped stamping raw materials, in a pair of dies with several different workstations at the same time to complete a number of stamping processes of cold stamping die, die every stamping completed, strip moving at a fixed distance, until the completion of the product.
Continuous die in the stamping process the material belt always moves in one direction; die internal strip cut to two or more directions after the movement of the progressive die; tape feeding in the die completed in the internal called automatic continuous die; in a stamping production chain with different processes of stamping die manipulator or other automation Equipment, the use of mold or parts to complete the workpiece stamping process, rated mold called multi station die.
